Young Money superstars Drake and Lil Wayne are currently battling a lawsuit accusing them of pulling a no-show at a Las Vegas nightclub last year. According to TMZ, a judge ordered both rappers to pay $432,337.50 to the Imperial Entertainment Group for their alleged 2011 no-show but the rappers claim they were never told about the supposed club appearance and they never signed any contract.
Both rappers also claim they were not served with summonses to show up in court and that the third party that Imperial Entertainment Group used, Melanzh Enterprises, had no authority to book them.
Lil Wayne and Drake want the $432,337.50 judgement scratched. It?s unclear if and when the appeal will bring the case back to the courtroom. In related news, Drake is currently selling out shows with his ?Club Paradise? tour which launched in Los Angeles earlier this month. The trek wraps in Boston in June and the Young Money rapper is sharing stages with J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame, and French Montana. Check out the tour dates below:
